Ouikar 2D Animation

Ouikar is a Dubai-based online service/portal where people can order car spare parts and get them fixed in different garages, all by ordering from Ouikar website. The client wants to deliver the same message using a 2D animation.

I was responsible for creating the concept and story. As per the brief, the client wants vibrant colors and give the video animation a feeling of “UAE” especially Dubai and Abu Dhabi. For the implementation of the same, I used desert and some iconic buildings in the backgrounds of my animation to give it a local look-n-feel.

Also, the main character was chosen as an Arab to put more UAE flavor.

I executed the whole job including the mood board, artwork, overall look-n-feel and finally doing animation in After Effects. The client really likes the end result.
